UNION
Ltd. was founded in 1759. After an initial trading
with the world famous St.Gallen linen grounds,
in 1800 the first embroidery designs were taken
into the sales programme. The major markets at
that time were Italy and Persia, and, starting
from 1850, the United States of America. In 1909,
the American slogan 'in UNION with fashion' resulted
finally, in the change to the company's current
name: UNION Ltd.
After the management of that time were able to
lead the company through the embroidery, and the
ensuing world economic crises, UNION Ltd. specialized
in the production and sale of 'Haute Couture'
embroideries. This procured UNION Ltd. a world
wide reputation as a leading creative embroidery
company. |

The change of fashion, as well
as the introduction of new high-speed embroidery
machines in the late 60's and 70's, also changed
UNION Ltd.'s production programme.
From that time on, UNION Ltd.
concentrated on embroideries for the intimate
apparel. With its long experience and creativity,
Union Ltd. was able to immediately achieve a considerable
position in the market. Since then, and thanks
to hard work and dedication, and great variety
in the new designs each season, to increase the market position.
UNION Ltd. is proud to be among
the most important embroidery manufacturers for
the intimate apparel.
